Before you set off, you should consider some vital criteria when ski mountaineering: the objective assessment of your own knowledge, your level of fitness, the correct equipment and, not least, awareness of the current weather and avalanche conditions.
Of course, you can also join a guided ski tour in Maria Alm provided by the Alpinskischule Markus Hirnböck.
